Brian, thanks for the information about possibly her birth and her parents. I'm not related to this family and working on this for a friend, so I was definitely flying blind on this one. I do not have much experience with searching records from Ireland, so I'm excited about this information.

This Margaret Maher was married to James Britt and I'm fairly confident that her son, Thomas Britt, migrated to America (Davenport, Iowa) about 1850.

I forgot to put in her current last name of Britt and add Thomas as her son. That information has been updated now.
