Advice before editing this pre-1700 Seay profile?

I have information to contribute to the profile of Abraham Seay II. This is what I can add:

  • “John Loving . . . born in Goochland County on 4 October 1739 . . . married Miss Naomi Seay, daughter of Abraham Seay, II, and Naomi Loving of Powhatan County, in 1761. John and Naomi, who was called Amy . . . had eleven children . . .”

These are the sources I am using:

  • Read, Carl & May 1981. The Loving Family in America, 1705-1981: Plus, Lovan, Lovein, Loven, Lovern, Lovin, Lovorn, Lovvorn, and Those who Add an "s" to the Name. Harp & Thistle, GA. Pages 7-9, paragraph A2.

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

This information is already on the duplicate you created. It would be better if you removed the unmerged match and then propose a match of the 2 profiles, thanks
