Need help finding family of Elizabeth (Detterline) Line

I am having a great deal of trouble with this profile, Detterline-19. I discovered she was born in Weissport (her place of birth was misinterpreted as Newport on a death certificate) which made me think she is the daughter of William and Mary (Brobst?) Ditterline. Yet, on her daughter Martha Elizabeth Line's death certificate found on Ancestry and on Find A Grave, Martha's parents are listed as James Santee and Ellizabeth Shoemaker. Martha is found on the 1930 Census (as Martha Miller) in her brother Milton's (James) household. I have been spinning in circles with Elizabeth for over 4 years trying to figure her out. Can anyone find something to indicate who she is? I am at a loss at this point and would be over the moon happy with any help.

This answer will be expanded and clarified as I find more:

A familysearch tree has her parents as William Ditterline and Mary Bobst, and her paternal grandparents as Henry Ditterline and Elizabeth Houph.   Working from that (but clearly needing more evidence), "History of Bucks County" page 13, mentions that Henry Ditterline married Elizabeth Houph, daughter of Joseph Houph, who was a son of Joseph and Elizabeth West Hough.  I'd recommend reading that whole passage here (page 12-13):

https://archive.org/stream/historyofbucksco03davi/historyofbucksco03davi_djvu.txt

...since you can track back several generations even further.  Richard Hough, father of Joseph Hough (who married Elizabeth West), for example.

It appears this Joseph Houph (Hough) already has a wikitree profile https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Hough-906 and it notes in the biography they Joseph Hough and Mary Tompkins Hough had daughter Elizabeth who married Henry Ditterline.  Note this still doesn't prove Henry had William as issue and that they had Elizabeth, but we'll get there...

So now we have multiple sources saying that Joseph Hough married Elizabeth West, had a Joseph Hough, who had an Elizabeth, who married Henry Ditterline.

Next up, let's find some evidence that Elizabeth Hough (Houph) and Henry Ditterline had a son William.  To get things started, I took the liberty of creating profiles of Henry Ditterline and Elizabeth Hough Ditterline.

Before I continue, is this the information you are interested in?

Yes, I am very interested. Four generations of Harlan's are buried in the Mauch Chunk Cemetery and own two plots. I had noticed Carbon County does not have much in the way of births and marriages. I don't live there anymore, I am 3000 miles away and my sister is about 1/2 hour away. She is a physician and does not have any time to go record hunting. Based on the location of William Ditterline's burial and the census I am fairly certain they are related. I appreciate any help you can offer. By the way, I recognize your last name. There were Nagle's at my High School. I was only there my last two years and did not know many people though. Thanks so much for your help!
ok, filled it all in, we have Elizabeth (Detterline) Line, daughter of William Ditterline and Mary (Bobst) Ditterline; William being the son of Henry Ditterline and Elizabeth (Hough) Ditterline.  Elizabeth (Hough) Ditterline being the daughter of Joseph Hough Jr. and Mary (Tompkins) Hough, and this Joseph Hough Jr. being the son of Joseph Hough Sr. and Elizabeth (West) Hough, Joseph Hough Sr. being the son of Richard Hough and Margery (Clowes) Hough, and Richard Hough being the son of John Hough.  John Hough being the son of Ellis Hough, born in approximately 1580, which is pretty far back.

Death mentioned

I would add more tags to your question such as connectors, sourcerers, Pennsylvania also last name “Line” or her maiden name.

Thanks, Andrew! Thank you for working on James Milton. I'm playing catch-up on all my profiles.
