A friend in Holland is active in Wikitree. As she is entering  locations in the location box the place name appear in Dutch. She would like them in English. What's the solution. (places in USA.)

That's Rathfelder -15 not 115

The Edit page has a language field (for the location fields). If she sets that field to English, she should be able to convert the Dutch location names to the English location names.

Tell her to set the language she wants to use, then select the relevant location field, and then enter a space; that should bring up the language-specific version of the currently entered location name.

edit: added text in parentheses

Thank you. I hope she remembers to look for this. Its way beyond my scope.
Thank you, Linda. That works just fine!

Obviously she may also simply look on a search engine and then if necessary, go to wikitree.com if this automatically appears as.NL for her.

That can be done using even browser based masked ipn, and then it can appear as though she is in Uk or anywhere.

And then it ought to naturally present as English, if she cannot do it by the already mentioned means above

I do have wikitree.com, but the location names (really only the names of the countries) still sometimes appear in Dutch. But the method Lindy suggested works fine. Thank you.
