I reaize that the obit is a different Nigel, but being born in England at a later date there is a good possibility he was a distant relative.

1911 England census

Residence:  date - city, Devon, England

Birth:  Nov. 29, 1932, England
Death:  Feb. 23, 2012

Nigel Arnold, 79, of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012, after a short battle with lung cancer. He was born to Fredrick and Alma (Haynes) Arnold on November 29, 1932.

He was born, raised and educated in England and came to this country in the late 1940's. Nigel settled in Indianapolis where he worked for AT&T and Lucent Technologies. He retired from there in 1985 where he and his first wife, Faye then built a home in Sharps Chappel, Tennessee. After his wife passed, he returned to Indianapolis and married Kaye Eckert and although they separated, they remained lifetime friends. After Nigel's retirement he was able to fulfill a lifetime dream and become a private pilot. He also enjoyed photography, euchre and volunteering.

Surviving him are his daughter, Nikki (Byron) DeCoursey; and brother, Peter (Frances) Arnold. Preceding him in death were his parents, Fredrick and Alma; wife, Faye; and sister, Beryl.
