Who is the father of Casper Beyerly and where in Germany was he born?
in Genealogy Help by
Carl,

By going to the top of the WikiTree page, look for four catagories: My WikiTree   Add   Find   and Help.

Click on Find and that menu will open. Then look down the open menu and click on Projects. That will take you to a list of a fair number of countries. Look for Germany and click on it. You will find names of project leaders and coordinators who may be able to help sleuth out the answer to your question.

There are several named Caspar Baeuerle in Germany.

More information that you may have could help narrow the search.

Do you have a birth year and location for Caspar and would you also have a marriage year and name of spouse as well as location?

Casper Byerly (1727-1794) came to America in 1754 and resided in Dauphin County or Lancaster County? in Pennsylvania. Buried in the Shoops cemerary in PA. His wife was Catherine Daw. He served in the Revolutionary War. His son was Jacob Byerly who migrated to Ross County, Ohio. Thank you for your quick response. Any help is appreciated!

If you go to the top right of this page and click on Find, you can take the menu down to Projects. There is a Germany project that has several resource people listed. You can contact the one or ones that seem appropriate for your search.

Since Casper Beyerly died in Harrisburg, Dauphin, PA in 1794, he may have lived there for a long time after he left Germany for PA.

Sometimes a marriage record will show the names of parents. Do you know what year Casper married Catherine Daw and at what location?

I don't see a Find option at the top of the page. I tried a search in the Search G2G option with Projects. Is this the same thing? Casper did live in Dauphin County most of his life (registered in the 1790 Census). However I can not locate the date of his marriage. I would assume they got married in Dauphin County.
If you follow the page up to the top you should be able to see My Wikitree and the the right of My Wikitree is Add, next to Add is Find and on the far right of the top of the page is Help.

Find will change color when you click on it and it will open the menu, Projects are the 7th item down. When you click on Projects you can follow the list down to Germany.
I still cannot locate the birthplace of my GGGGGrandfather in Germany. Nor can I find the marriage date or location. I must have a different page for Wiki Tree. To the right of Wiki Tree is GTG not "ADD". I would appreciate any assistance!
