Was Agnes, wife of William de Mowbray, a Depden?

A post on soc.genealogy.medieval shows Agnes as the daughter of John de Depden and Elizabeth Waleys.  It references an article is the NEHGS Register Vol.120, pages 170-174.  Another site mentions this same article, quoting ". . ."perhaps daughter and heir of Sir John de Depden by Elizabeth, daughter and heiress of Stephen Waleys of Burg Waleys."

I am wondering if there is any basis or supporting evidence for Agnes to be of the Depden family.  I don't have access to the NEHGS Register.

Here is the relevant passage from the main body of the Register article:

[p.172] According to Joseph Hunter (South Yorkshire: the History and Topography of the Deanery of Doncaster (1828-1831), vol. 2, p.483) Agnes was the daughter and heiress of Sir John de Depden by his wife Elizabeth, daughter and heiress of Sir Stephen Waleys of Burg Waleys; and it is to be noticed that on 25 May 1412 Sir William Gascoigne and wife M. [sic] presented to the living of Burg Waleys (ibid.). However, more evidence would seem to be needed as he may have acquired this by purchase.

Then in the summary section:

[p.174] This William married prior to 1312 Agnes, perhaps daughter and heir of Sir John de Depden by Elizabeth, daughter and heiress of Stephen Waleys of Burg Waleys.

Note that Sir William Gascoigne mentioned on p. 172 was the great-great-grandson of Agnes.
