Orphan profiles Annis Miranda Main (1810), George W. Main (1811),  Almire Main (1813) lacked a biography, spouses, and dates of death. The parents and other siblings were created back in 2012.  They need help too!! Would any one like to work on this family and try to get sources and other needed info for them please?.

They are from New London Connecticut, but only info we have other then that are Ancestry.com references. Maybe someone with an Ancestry.com account can find more info and update these profiles. Maybe with death dates we can get a FAG source with more info as well.

Feel free to adopt them and give them some loving care!!!!

Thank you Marion for your attempt to help source these Main/Main profilessmiley

Amos S,. Main however doesn't seem to fit the time frame or spelling of the name given originally. (Annis Miranda Main (1810) is the one the Profile Manager gave us).

Now Almire Main (1813) could have married a Cables but her birth date is too far off, I think. Can't seem to find info on the parents either from my research because I can't get a good census source because I am not a paid Ancestry member. sad

There seems to be a number of Main/e families in Stonington, and they might be intermingled.
All the listed names on the Annis profile come from a totally unsourced tree on Ancestry
Oh that is lovely .... anyway, thank you so much for trying!!!!!

I lucked out and found a FAG for George Main while trying to research the others.   View Source URL: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/35519069/george-main

It gives his parents and spouse but only one sibling, Melissa Main.
