Janet Chestnut has been added to my tree and doesn't elonggggg. How do I correct?

Jane Chestnut has been connected in error to my Kennedy tree.  My great grandfather's name was John  Milton Baird,  His father's name was James Baird.  John married my great grandmother Minerva Saxton.  James wife was Lucinda Huffman.  There is no manager. unfortunately,   whoever made the mistake is trying to insert Bird for my ancestors last name.  I am a novice with macular eye problems.  I don't know how to correct this.  It will disprove any connection to Mary Pickford or the other lady shown in  this weeks news.  I am connected to   Henry Tudor and Eugenie, Empress of France (William Kirkpatrick).  Contact me, if I can be of any assistance.  Joan R

At a quick glace, it does seem as though she doesn't "belong" to at least one of those supposed husbands.

Without sources on the person's page, this sort of thing is bound to happen. Here is the marriage record for your James:

and here they are in the 1860 US Census:

"United States Census, 1860", database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MCGX-CKM : 19 March 2020), James Baird, 1860.

The problem may have happened because you may have assumed that the John Milton Bird profile that was created as part of the 124-DeCoursey.ged. import in 2010 was supposed to be John Milton Baird who is your Great Grandfather.

It is an easy mistake to make especially for someone with eye problems like you stated.

What needs to happen now is for a new profile to be created for John Milton Baird and then connect it to James Baird as the father of John, add a marriage to Minerva (Saxton) Baird and connect the new profile to his daughter Nina Baird .

I will be adding sources to the Jane Chestnut profile and connected profiles

The profile for John Milton Baird has been added at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Baird-5274 and is free for you to adopt

Thank you for doing all that, Darren.
