Karen (Finnerty) Butler is a Wonderful Wikitreer as a valuable asset to the Wikitree Greeter Project.

Question

Karen (Finnerty) Butler is a Wonderful Wikitreer because the amount of time she spends diligently working to train others to become Wikitree Greeters while maintaining her own Wikitree Greeter schedule is phenomenal.  I don't know where she finds the time.  I am the type of person who often learns by my mistakes and Karen has never judged me once for making a mistake and I just want everyone to know how much that means to me.  I am finally at the stage where I feel comfortable with my responsibilities as a Wikitree Greeter and that is due to the effort made by Karen.  She is a spectacular asset to the Wikitree Greeter project and I appreciate her so much.  She truly lives up to the first syllable in her name and she should change the first letter and it should be spelled as Caren.  Congratulations on not only being a Wonderful Wikitreer, but a Wonderful Person!

Wow, John, thank you so much, this is very much appreciated. When I started greeting, I had the amazing Cindy as my trainer, I love training the new greeters, each and every one of you are lovely people and it has been great getting to know you all during these training sessions. You have all become amazing greeters, and I am a proud to have been able to help you on your way. You have all helped me at the same time, with the questions you have asked me. We all make mistakes at times, even now at times I still do, and sometimes making the mistake helps the learning process, and you have not made very many at all, and I have already made them.

You have all become great assets to the greeters gang, your lovely words have made me very humble, and I am a bit overwhelmed, so will have a little blub now. I love each and everyone of you, and all the greeters in general, you are the best family ever  xxx
