I notice people putting college / universities as categories.  Anyone have a clear idea of how we should do this?

I added second category, that should work.

[[Category:Colleges]]

Ed,

There is still a conversation going on in the Category Group as to how these things should be handled (http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project_talk:Categorization#Hierarchy_for_free-space_profiles_of_churches.2C_schools.2C_cemeteries.2C_etc.). There are two major discussion points how deep should the location side go under for instance schools (State, county, town?) and the other is whether schools, cemeteries, churches, etc should just be Free Space pages or Free Space pages and categories. Not sure how to guide you on that. My feeling is create both a free space and category for the instittution, even if it is ultimately decided to not have them be a category, it really will not impact your profile at all but if it is decided to keep the category designation as well you will not have to go back through and add this to all your profiles.

Always respect your opinion so please join the discussion on this. Might have to have a categorization group conference call sometime.

I believe while this is being discussed that I will place them in the Counties only.  This way we can easily adjust in the future.  It's hard to build a lot of infrastructure that may or may not be used.  If the counties start to fill up other sub categories may become more obvious.
I'm going to follow the guidance by Chris for Cemeteries.  Create a free space page for the College.

Happily it seems consistent.
