Hello Deborah,

Join https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/AdoptionDNA/info  I suspect they will help show you the benefits of transferring your AncestryDNA results to Family Tree DNA's Family Finder, and ideally also testing with 23andMe.  That way you can fish in three ponds.  If you have not done so already, you need to upload to www.GEDmatch.com and register at www.dnagedcom.com and become familiar with how to use shared segments of triangulated groups.  X chromosome matching will likely also come into play.

Sincerely, Peter

Thank you for your help and response Peter.  Will do.  Its on my husbands side and I already have to get his DNA for an Alexander Hamilton Project.  You're a peach.  Debby
