My family's line descends from James Timothy Kerr (also spelled Carr) from Armagh in the early 1800s; most of the children appeared to have emigrated to Michigan (2 girls, 2 boys) or gone with Timothy to Kirkudbright, Scotland, where some descendants remained. If you have DNA results we might be able to make a connection.

Some other Kerrs in the Armagh records in the early 1800s are Hugh and John.
