Nav Home Page Feature Request

I've really appreciated having the Scratch Pad on my Nav Home Page, but I've got such a hodge podge of information there, and the number of items on the Scratch Pad are getting to be such a long list, that it's starting to feel a bit unwieldy. One thing that would really help me to stay on top of the things I do on WikiTree would be a Favorite Links feature, so I could create a set of clickable links to pages I use, or should use, often.

For example, as part of this month's challenges, I've just created a One Name page. I'd like to be able to have a link to that page on my Nav Home Page, so that I'll have a reminder every time I check in to do a little work there.

That's a great idea. In the interim you may want to create a free space page for your handy links & link it to your profile page.

I was just about to post the same question, but saw this, thanks Pam!  I agree we need something like this.  Whilst Dougs idea is workable I think the way i work I would find it easier if we had a small section under the scratch pad where we could have maybe our top 5 links.  As Pamela says, it would work better for me as a reminder from there.

At the very least, I would like to be able to have a link on the nav page to our personal category and our own 'to do list'.  I've tried to add these categories to the scatch pad, but that doesn't work.

I tend to use the nav page as a home page/anchor, but it may be different for others, who start at some other point.

Pamela,

Doug's answer works well, but the problem is remembering to go the free space page.  One problem with the suggestion of 5 favorite links is that it just is not enough, I have about 25.

One solution, is to create a free space, as Doug suggests and use it as your start page.  Then links to G2G, your profile, watch list are all available - nothing needs to be added and you can add as many links and notes that you wish on the free space  page.  This is mine - messy but it works for me.
