Looking for Parents of Wilson Maddox (Maddox-2508) 1757-1834 with documentation.

Multiple Ancestry.com trees have either Robert (1725-1800 or 1835[sic]) or William Maddox (1718-1800). All have mother as Elizabeth Wilson (1725-1775), so Robert and William may be same person. (Some trees have William as a Civil War soldier 60+ years after his death - thus my reluctance.) Unfortunately no tree has documentation beyond each other's tree to prove lineage.

There are Quaker Meeting Records for JOHN WILSON MADDOX in Virginia

He was the son of John Maddox and Elizabeth Sherwood.

Have you tried familysearch.org, a free site?

Thank you for your suggestion.  I just went through familysearch.org and found nothing that mentions Wilson with Robert, William or Elizabeth.  Granted I am new to that site and may have missed something.

"United States Census, 1830," database with images, FamilySearch(https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XH53-2C7 : 12 August 2017), Wilson Maddox, North of the Road from Louisville to Frankfort, Shelby, Kentucky, United States; citing 261, NARA microfilm publication M19, (Washington D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, n.d.), roll 41; FHL microfilm 7,820.

Juniors marriage

"Kentucky, County Marriages, 1797-1954," database with images, FamilySearch(https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QKJ9-2PVK : 17 May 2018), Wilson Maddox and MM9.1.1/QKJ9-2PVL:, 19 Feb 1812; citing Marriage, Shelby, Kentucky, United States, various county clerks and county courts, Kentucky; FHL microfilm 259,280.

This is the marriage of my Wilson Sr's son Wilson Jr. and is good to have.  Thank you.
This census has Wilson Sr's son Wilson Jr.  I had previously included this for Wilson Sr's son David, my ancestor, who is on the same page.  Thank you.
