Thank you for this.I am afraid I have no connection and little to share about the Aalders family as I was actually adding a spouse named Aalders to another line. I presume by now there are quite a few Aalders descendants in Nova Scotia, particularly as there were enough of the name at one time to have a community named after them (Aaldersville, now Aldersville). Nova Scotia Historical Vital Statistics have 15 births, 25 marriages and 19 deaths, and there are about 20 burials in the local cemetery. Not a lot but it would make a sizable reunion! Perhaps i will revisit the line some time. It is too bad the name of the community has been shortened.
