SENECA/DELAWARE INDIAN ANCESTOR or from Africa?
The first of the White Family to locate in eastern Randolph County was Thomas White SR. He located at the Mouth of Laurel Fork Creek in or around 1789. Thomas had 2 wives the first was Elizabeth Tabb and the second was Abigial Grubb. Abigail is perported to be Seneca and Delaware Indian and was a slave before becoming Thomas' wife.

She was a daughter of Joseph and Unknown Grubb and was born in 1782 . She was perported to be of Cherokee Indian Blood and a slave of Thomas and Rebecca Whitney-Smith of Klamath Falls, OR . Her father Joseph was perported to be a runaway slave (but not necessarily Negro). After Thomas she married Joseph Summerfield on December 18, 1803 in Randolph County, West Virginia. The ceremony was performed by Robert Maxwell., he was born about 1750/54 in Birmingham, Warwick, England.

I don't have any information about Abigail, but any information you have about Klamath Falls is suspect. The Oregon Coast was explored by the Spanish in the 1770s, but there weren't really many non-indigenous people in Oregon until 1805 with the Lewis and Clark expedition. After that, there were white trappers and traders but not too many settled families until about 1830. Klamath Falls was founded as Linkville in 1867, and wasn't known as Klamath Falls until 1893.
