How to remove death certificate as Image on front page

You can remove an image as primary image from the profile's edit screen.

Look for the "Edit Photo Settings" section below the "Edit Family" section on the right side of the edit screen.

Below the image, you should see a check box followed by the text "remove as primary."

Check the box and save your edit to remove the current primary image.

From memory:

Go to the Profile;  click on Images.  Go to the image you want;  click on the "title" of the image.  Somewhere, there is a radio button which says "Remove from image."  Click that button;  SAVE changes (this is the important step!!).

Christine, if you're just trying to remove it as the thumbnail image that is displayed at the top of the profile, but keep it on the profile, click on the image.  About half way down on the right-hand side you should find a section saying "Set as Primary Image."  Just uncheck the box with the name of the subject of the profile, then save.

The other answers were correct, but after unchecking the profile name, click the "set as primary image" again.  I did it for you, but this is the save that was needed.  The image is still on the page, but it isn't the primary thumbnail photo.
