archibald weir from leadhills

I am trying to get the information on Archibald weir from leadhills. dont know his date of birth or whther he mayb have married a rachel hamilton.

Is there a possibility that he wennt to county tyrone ireland to have his children.

Archibald may have been related to  a James weir who married a marrion or mary Anderson where both had around 7 children at Crawford and lead hills.  At least 4 children emigrated to Australia.  Am trying to trace the weirs from leadhills to see whether they may be related to my great grandfather Duncan weir whose parents were James weir and ary Dimmock from East Calder /Edinburgh.

I have a distant relation called Archibald Weir, a linen manufacturer, who married a Rachel Hamilton. Their son, James became the Rev James Weir, who became the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Vicytoria, Australia. He was my paternal grandmother, Annie's father. Regretfully I know nothing more about him than that!
