Correcting UNKNOWN to now known last name at birth.

Thanks to [[Baker-19742|David Baker]], we now confidently know the last name at birth of [[UNKNOWN-58713|UNKNOW-58713]].  For some reason the normal option to correct the last name (when sure) does not appear on this (open) profile. Am I missing something or looking in the wrong place? Is there some special way of changing the status of a previously unknown person?

Only the profile manager can change a LNAB and the profile, although open, is not an orphan.

Ahh, that makes sense!  Thanks, Kathy.
I'm working on a previously unsourced orphan profile. The woman's LNAB was Unknown. But  I've found her husband's FAG and their marriage, so I now know her LNAB, as well as the names of her parents. How can I correct it? For the moment, I put the into into the bio. (This is Unknown-160607, BTW) Thanks for advice.

Kathy is correct, only a profile manager can change LNAB.  However, on the noted profile, the PM hasn't been active for several years (since 2011) so you might want to contact the tech people who could remove the manager and then you could correct the profile.

Thank you, Chris, that's a good idea, I'll do that.
