Do you want to compare Y-DNA for Maynard lines traceable to late 1700s?

Please contact wardmaynard@yahoo.com if you have Maynard ancestors who may have come from Wilkes County, North Carolina, in the late 1700s.  We are trying to use the Y-DNA from living Maynard males who trace their ancestry to Gibson Maynard, James Maynard, Christopher Maynard, William Maynard, George Maynard, and Jacob Maynard.  We may also be able to find connections to Maynards in Wake County or elsewhere in NC and VA.  We already have one DNA lead that suggests a link to a particular village in England--suggests, but does not PROVE
