Advice before adding father of this pre-1700 Pearson profile?

I can add a father to the profile of William Pearson. This is who I can add:

• George Pearson 1618-1693

These are the sources I am using:

• England, Select Births and Christenings1538-1975

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

Preferably, you would be able to provide a source for your source - that is, where did you find it? Where was it published? Did it come from a parish record? Is there an internet link?

For example:  "England Births and Christenings, 1538-1975", database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NP17-PXJ : 20 March 2020), Will. Pearson, 1659.
