Thank you, Chris.  I've done quite a few of these and was going to try to answer, but was a bit hesitant, considering how long the answer would have to be.  Nice to see that it's already there on WikiTree.
I mentioned elsewhere here that an online tutorial for merges would be nice to have.  Editing records would be another good topic.
Hi Fred. I'm sure you've seen http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Merging but you mean a step-by-step guide on how to do a merge? Any specific questions you'd like it to answer? Regarding editing, there is http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Editing_Tips but again, do you mean something else?
No, I actually hadn't seen those pages.  They look very useful.

I follow WikiTree's suggestion to jump in and experiment. :-)  I also have a VERY basic knowledge of HTML, and that helps when it comes to working with the various formatting codes.  Still, I didn't know about doing '''bold''' and ''italic'', for example, before I looked at the pages you linked.

I was actually thinking of something along the lines of a video/webinar.  I think a lot of WikiTreers find the editing and merging to be a bit intimidating and think it might help.

Meantime, those pages you linked are GOOD resources than everyone should look at.
Well, darn!  The bold and italic codes don't work on G2G. :-)
