I can't find any info on this commerial school in Bridgeport. But it was  mentioned in Louisa Booth's obituary in 1925.

It looks like a business school that included secretarial studies, that someone might  attend after completing high school and was in operation until at least 1950.

I have a diploma for my father, John G. Gaydos from Booth and Bayliss Commercial School dated May 2, 1925. He would have been 18 yrs old in 1925. His older brother also went to the same school. He went to  grade 8 in a Public school in Bridgeport, and Booth and Bayliss was the equivalence of High School for him. He worked in the Bridgeport Post Office for 44 years after graduating and eventually became a Superintendent with a lot of responsibilities. He knew the leadership of every business in Bridgeport.
