Private Frederick T. Chapman was born in 1850 and was a veteran of the 7th Regiment Infantry Conn Vols during the U.S. Civil War. So he was very young when he enlisted. He died May 8, 1893 and is buried at Wethersfield Village Cemetery! So he died exactly today in 1893 the anniversary of his death. See F.A.G. Link. We need help connecting him to the wiki family. We need help finding his enlistment date and muster out date. I have added a photo of his gravestone I took to help in his genealogy research.

I think that FAGrave has the wrong birth date.  If the headstone shows his age as 68 then he was born in 1825 not 1850.  Shown below is probably the correct person.  I will send a note to FAGrave to edit.
