Can anyone find a marriage record for Harrison Bailey and Margaret Duke?

I've seen everyone using 22 Nov 1801 on family trees on Ancestry but none of them are sources.

I checked out the records shown on the wiki page: https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/South_Carolina_Vital_Records

And thru my Ancestry subscription I looked at the South Carolina marriage records for both 1688-1799 and 1800-1820 but found nothing. I'm sorry I couldn't be of any help.

That the record doesn't appear in those two source sites is in fact helpful. It should nudge someone to examine other locations such as North Carolina and abutting states and examine other years such as 1798 through 1804 in case the date given in 1801 was for license or banns or a pre-marital contract and so forth

hi Edward. do you have any more info please I have just had a look on find my past doing it both ways wife then husband No results that is a world wide search.
