Having considerable trouble with this ancestor Thomas Whittier

Question

Now, it may be true that a Thomas Whittier was born in 1759 but not the one who married Waitstill Bishop.  Now my information may be wrong or I am looking at the records wrong but I do not agree with what is being said - about the 1759 date.  Can some senior person on this list help me out?

My Thomas was born in Massachusetts and moved and married Waitstill Bishop in Winthrop, Maine.  Help would definitely be appreciated.
