I compared Gray704 with Gray-1511 on the Connection Finder and the Relationship Finder and did not find a connection. Why don't you try comparing Fitzhugh-49 with each of the others? You may be able to crack this.

Just go to the Find menu at the top right of this page. The Connection Finder is the second item down on the menu.

Good Hunting.

As they are currently connected on WikiTree, Ralph Grey (Grey-704) is a descendant of Robert de Grey (Grey-1511), but I notice one of the links in the genealogy, the parents of Thomas Grey or Gray are marked as Uncertain, though the sources on that profile are probably not the best and it could do with a bit more research.

The short answer is that it's probable ... at least that's what antiquarians believed.

They thought that early branches of Grey/Grays of England & Scotland all descended from the senior line founded by Anschetil ''temp. Conqueror''. But there a number of conflicting constructions and breaks in the early pedigree that prevent us from determining direct links.
