What to do about this suggestion generator [closed]

Question

This profile [[Unknown-215892|Biological Father Unknown]] keeps showing up on my suggestion list. I have had the profile owner, who is too busy to pursue it, put me on the trusted list, but I actually think the best approach would be to unlink this "parent", about whom nothing is known, and never will be known, from the only child [[Yates-1549|Jean  Ferrario]]. All relatives who might know are either dead or do not know. It would seem cleanest to just disconnect, and if possible delete. Any suggestions would be welcome.

I would think that you just need to change Biological Father to Unknown in the relevant name fields.

The details that the profile represents Jean's biological father belong in the Biography or in Research Notes.

I see no reason to disconnect the profiles, as they represent who they are indicated to represent - a father and daughter.

Just because we can't identify the father today, tomorrow, next year, next decade, etc., doesn't mean we or future WikiTreers may never be able to identify him.

We can be fairly certain that he actually existed, even if he is never identified.

I concur with Lindy's recommendation.

What's the specific error message you're getting? If it was wrong wording in name field, you've fixed that.

You may also have an error if you have no date-- even an estimate -- in either the birth or death date field.
