Anne Wilson Weller's profile (Wilson-4915) lists John Whiting Wilson (Wilson-4916) and Ann Sherman (Sherman-728) as her parents. No source has been cited for this information and I'm wondering if it is correct.

If you beleive the " Biography which is online John Whiting Wilson did

immigrate on the Elizabeth 1634-1635.I have looked on those ship list

of passengers,No John.No Ann.But that may not be,they could have been,

Like everything back then records are muddled,I did find John Whiting Wilson

in Dedham,Sussex, but he died there in 1619.

Thank you for the information Wayne.

I have been wondering how John Wilson came to have a 'middle' name, since that was not the custom when he was born. There is a pedigree on Geni which shows him with his mother's surname (Wilson) and father's surname - Whiting - in parenthesis.

Other problems are that Anne Wilson-4915 is shown as being from Yorkshire, other websites show John Wilson from Essex, and the record of his death is Sussex.

The articles quoted from NEHGS theorize that Ann Wilson is a half-sister of Robert Wilson.  That makes it less likely she is the daughter of John Wilson (Whiting) because he did not apparently live long enough to be married twice, or to have another son, Robert.

As you say Wayne, muddled.
