Antoine LeBeouf or Ducêdre

So in researching the biological father of Glenn Frey of the band the Eagles, I came across a gap that I'd like to clear up. There's this guy:

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Duc%C3%AAdre-7

William Ducêdre aka Ducedre aka Cedar

And then his grandfather is supposed to be this guy:

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Leboeuf-245

Charles Isidore Leboeuf or LeBoeuf

The father of William (or son of Charles) is supposed to be Antoine LeBoeuf dit Ducedre, which is interesting as the Ducedre seems to come up out of nowhere. There appears to be some evidence of a son Antoine, but this site (for example) shows him to have never married:

https://www.nosorigines.qc.ca/Genealogie_Canada_Children.aspx?genealogie=Antoine&pid=1105051

As best I can tell, the LeBoeuf dit Ducedre last name appears to have emerged from Ancestry, but I have no specific source documentation for that. I do have a Christening source as LeBoeuf:

https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QS7-L993-4W62?cc=1321742&wc=9RL8-PTP%3A13629501%2C13629502%2C13629503
And a marriage document as father of the bride with a last name of Ducedre:

"Ontario Marriages, 1869-1927," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FMNJ-996 : 11 March 2018), Antoine Ducedre in entry for Norbert Rebardie and Monique Ducedre, 12 Feb 1877; citing registration , Stoney Point, Essex, Ontario, Canada, Archives of Ontario, Toronto; FHL microfilm 1,863,648.

So I'm not sure how to prove that LeBoeuf is Ducedre or if there's an actual last name of LeBoeuf dit Ducedre.Any suggestions?

I guess I'll have to accept that he changed his last name at some point, and the reason will be a mystery. Seems there's enough evidence to prove that LeBoeuf and Ducedre are the same person. There's an interesting story there somewhere.
Charles is the father of William

There are no records in Ancestry to support the name La Beouf associated with this family.

There are records for an Antoine LaBeouf born in Detroit, moving to Ontario but this Antoine LaBeouf in the 1861 census for Ontario existed at the same time as Antoine Ducedre/Cedar

Have also been researching the Ducedre family... and lo and behold..  I was researching Antoine Ducedre b. 21 Jul 1826, d. 17 Jun 1897. Buried in the parish cemetery in Pain Court, Kent, Ontario.  I was looking up his baptism record and couldn't find it.. but then.. boom.. he was baptized under the name LEBOEUF. Antoine Leboeuf.. son of Antoine Leboeuf and Marie Lauzon.

In the parish burial registry he was listed as Ducedre, as was his father. However on the 1861 census.. he's listed as Antoine Leboeuf, and it is the same person, as his wife and known children are also listed.

So safe to say .. Leboeuf dit Ducedre was a thing. I would put it as an AKA however.  Though he may have been baptized as Leboeuf, he went by the name Ducedre, and even Ceder or Cedar on the 1881 census (though that may be blamed on the English enumerator). Buried in Pain Court under the name Ducedre.
