There are no data bases for birth records in Germany in general that can claim to be reasonably complete. It would be impossible to find somebody with such a common name without more information about where they came from.

My Grandfather was Charles Ferdinand Fischer. His father was from Germany. Charles lived in Montgomery County, in the town of  Cheltenham, PA.. He was born around 1884 in the US. The census says that his mother was born in PA.

Charles and his wife, Katherine had 4 children, Kathryn, Charles, Margaret and Anne. He died about 1934 of tuberculosis at his home at 117 Ryers Ave in Cheltenham.

It is possible that the man Johan Ferdinand Fischer is my Great Grandfather from Germany.
