I'm still not sure about this one. I found this same marriage record, with the names of Mary Ann Underwood and Randolph Rine. I saw a copy of the original marriage record that was handwritten, and there were no annotations of parents. Other trees give the husband the name of Rudolph, which could be an alternate spelling of the name. But, I have found no other indication that this Mary Ann Underwood belongs to Obed Underwood and Mary Myers. I've checked census records and still come up empty. Granted, the records only give number of children in a set age group, but she still doesn't show up, when you consider that there is another daughter born in 1828/29, who died young. There should be two girls in the same category if you count both of them. I haven't found out when the other daughter died, so I don't know which census records she might appear in. This is just so confusing to me. It seems like every record I find for Mary Ann Underwood cites the same marriage record, but with no other documentation. I keep coming back to the fact that the Underwood genealogy by Mr. Kellog does not list her as a child of Obed and Mary. Plus, there were a lot of Underwoods in the area at the time, so this Mary Ann Underwood could belong to an entirely different family.
