Need pre-1500 certified member to complete the merge,if possible, of Palmer-7161 and Palmer-3094.  Both are wives of William Upton.

It looks like Jane Palmer (Palmer-3094) might not belong to this family. Her profile says she was the daughter of John Palmer of Angmering, Sussex (although no source is given).

The Visitations of Somerset of the County of Somerset, in the years 1551 and 1575 and Miscellanea Genealogica et Heraldica suggest the wife of William Upton of Launceston (or Launston) was Jone or Joane, the daughter of Richard Palmer of Combe or Langsson (or perhaps the daughter of John Pounte of Derbyshire). I have added the full sources to William Upton's profile.

My preference would be to detach Jane Palmer (Palmer-3094) from William Upton (Upton-47), rather than merge her with Joan Palmer (Palmer-7161).

Jane Palmer's profile has now been detached and I have added sources to the profiles of William Upton and his wife Joan Palmer.

Merge proposed.

She's Richard's dau. (not John's) ... and not in the line Sussex line that descends from Ralph Palmer (cadet branches Angmering, Sussex; Wingham, Kent; etc). Vis. of Devon records info for her.
