Anne Bruneau married in New France in 1701. Marie Bruneau married here in 1710. Anne's husband was present at Marie's wedding and cited her brother-in-law. So far so good, the sibling relationship is established.
It gets sticky with the names of the mothers and the places of birth of the two girls. Was Vincent Bruneau married twice and thus the girls are just half-sisters, or is the name of one mother wrong? Anne's mother is listed as Marie Cordié/Cordier, Marie's mother is listed as the late Marie Rigaud. The girls are also from 2 different places, not certain how far apart the two locations are.
All data and sources listed on Vincent's profile (linked).
Can my friends in France project take a look please, see if they can find anything to clarify all this? Also need some input on Anne's place of origin, have tentatively put it as being in Orléanais.
