A presidential oddity?

As I looked at my presidential cousins on WT, I noticed some cousins were paternal GM (Coe-2227) and some paternal GF (Barbour-1017).  Using the RF list, I found I am related (some uncertains) to 32 paternal GM cousin presidents and 33 paternal GF cousins.  John Adams is not a paternal GM cousin but John Quincy is. Both are cousins to Barack Obama's mother.  My paternal GF and GM are 8th cousins.

I do find to amazing how often presidential trees change.  I previously had 39 cousins.

Didn't know there was an app for finding relationships to presidents. I'd been manually checking against the list. Where is the app?

Also are there similar apps for the other notables?

It is a manual operation.  You don't need to look up each famous person.  This was a huge advance over previous method!

The relationships appear to be dependent on the accuracy of all relevant tree data all along the way, at every step, including every single profile.  If even one is offtrack then the indicated relationships may not be correct. This may require Wikitree monitors to double-check all president-related connections and contact profile managers about any possible errors, which at times include confusion over family namesakes.  This might include reconsideration of all old historical data and the ability to verify that data.

We have to take the One Tree as it is right now.  It is a living organism.  People are added and errors are corrected. Hopefully, all new inputs are correct.  Each day the tree gets larger and more accurate.

William The Conqueror has at different times been GGFs, and GGUs.  Right now he is a cousin.  I accept the current status; maybe he will be a GGF again after new inputs.

The goal, over time, is a correct tree; a huge historical document!
