DNA results show 56% Scandinavian but no Ancestors from that area

The scandanavians traveled as far as Kiev Russia and esstablishied a city there.

Also, the area of France, called Normandy was named after them.

They also settled a large part of England, among others Northumberland.

Thank you for your response. I have ancestors from Poland, Germany, England, Austria and Ireland. I hope to eventually find my Scandinavian link. Everyone has always asked me if I was Swedish because of my fair complexion and name, Heidi :)
