One of the handiest proofreading tools is to break our brains' pattern of skimming over often-seen information. If you read the text backwards (word by word i.e. England in born was John) you are more likely to catch mistakes that you might otherwise miss. For Greeters, try “scanning” a profile backwards.

Greeters welcome new Guests and confirm Volunteers for full membership while we simultaneously protect our members from spammers. We also answer questions from our guests and new members and make sure they get the help they need to have a successful start on Wikitree.
