Who were the parents of John Chilcote?

I am searching for parental names for a John Chilcote, born in 1660 Brompton Ralp, Somerset.He married Elizabeth Aplyn in June 16, 1686.

Here's one possiblity, but their son John b 1665 would eliminate John b 1660, probably a cousin.

John b 1665 had two uncles, I've found no marriage/children for them.

Further research finds three chilcotes born between 1660 and 1666, within two miles of Brompton Ralph, 

 

1) a child (name/sex not known) b 5 Apr 1660 to Thomas Chilcott

2) Camfray Chilcote b 24 May 1660 to John Chilcott

3) a child (name/sex not known) b 7 Feb 1666 to Thomas Chilcott

 

These are from "England, Births and Christenings, 1538-1975," index, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/NRRC-GZF.  

My ancestor John, b 1665 didn't show up on the search, either I have his birth date wrong ( a strong possiblitiy) or I've missed a record. He was born within that same two mile radius. 

I found two Elizabeth Aplyns, one born 1608, one in 1698, both in Somerset. The first married Henry Lyninge, no word on who the other married. Both of these were at least 20 miles from the others.
