Would you like to join the new and improved Wales Project? [closed]

Question

Do you have Welsh ancestors, or  do you have an interest in Welsh profiles?

We are excited that since the re-launch of the Wales Project last month into fantastic new teams we now have over 60 active members working on Welsh profiles.

Our teams include topical teams such as Welsh Authors, county-level teams such as Glamorgan, and profile improvement teams such as the Welsh Sourcerers.

If you have an interest in Welsh ancestry and Welsh profiles we would love to have you on board.

To join the project, please answer this question below saying your would like to join, (please don't comment as this makes it hard to keep track - thanks!) and I will be in touch.

Please also make sure you are signed in when you post so I know who I'm responding to, and if you are new to WikiTree, please sign the Honour Code to become a full member so we can accept you into the project.

Thank you for allowing me to join. I must say, I'm pretty excited about it.  Owain Gwynedd is a 15th great- grandfather through my father's side.  I have been interested In Welsh history for many years.

Being approximately 1/16 Welsh, I'd like to encourage all of you in your work. As it happens, the Let others know what locations you are working on page has a Wales section, which currently lists six unconnected branches and four unconnected notables from Wales.

Also, in the Quest for Great-Grandparents: United Kingdom Edition challenge, the three missing great-grandparents for David Lloyd George were probably Welsh, since his grandparents were all Welsh. And in the Quest for Great-Grandparents: Hymn Writer Edition challenge, Hopkin Bevan's family tree only goes back to his parents, so his profile is grandparent and great-grandparent deprived.

In short, WikiTree needs lots of help in Wales.

I would love to join the Wales project my maternal grandfather was born in the  Cardiff in 1901. I am tracing his maternal side back as they are Welsh, I know his paternal side are English. Please consider letting me join

I would be interested in joining the Wales project since quite a few of my ancestors immigrated from there. I am new at this and have not gotten into that branch yet, Does it count that my father insisted my first horse be a Welch Pony?
