Have you checked the 1880 census records for Williamson County ? The Mrs Ragsdale, G.Ragsdale, H. Ragsdale and W. Ragsdale

isn't enough to do a sources search

There are 73 Ragsdales in the county in 1880
Yes, I have been working the Census records for this family of Ragsdale and I believe they are of the same Wm Ragsdale/Ann Parker line in Robertson Co TN.  One of the  sons,  Lewis Ragsdale b 1769 prob Caswell, NC d 1845 in Logan Co KY which is on the Tn/KY line may be the connection.  The issue of course is just having first name initials on the map leaves the id wide open.  I will contact the Ragsdale FTDNA project for more leads.  Thank you for the replies.  Curry
Perhaps you can start a Ragsdale name study and recruit some of the Southern Colonies project members to help fill in the blanks.

Lewis's sons include a William and a George but neither of them lived in TN, nor did their children. You may have more luck with Lewis's younger brother Joel whose son Thomas was born in TN.
