My Moore orphaned 3 kids in Virginia approx 1915

I am searching for information regarding  the family of Paul l Moore

Born July 31st 1906 believed to have been born in Salisbury Virginia.

He had a sister named Rachel and another sister (possibly named Sara )

The children were placed in  carechildren's Home society in Richmond Virginia.

Paul was never adopted nor did he age out , heran away at a young age.

He went to Richmond to research years ago found out most records had been burned. But he was told that his parents had died in some sort of at railroad / trolley / auto accident that was the reason they were placed in state custody. I have been searching online several years and have come up with no proof of this family. CHS has been able to verify Paul's birth date and name and that Rachel was in fact one of his sisters names. I have had three generations do a DNA test however the results has only led me back to the Moore family from the 1600-1700... So I have not yet found any good leads please help if you can.

Have you thought about ordering his Social Security application?
How would I get that?

I believe he went to Va

To not only find family

But to have proof of identity

I don't believe he may have ever found out who his parents were

Here’s the web link

He would have to have had some proof of his age to get a card.  If he was in the service in WW II he’d need it there as well, although most of those records were lost to fire.

The original handwritten record of Paul's draft card shows he believes his place of birth was near an orphanage in Richmond Virginia.

This is interesting.  The birth date is not exact but his wife is the same as on his draft card.  These findagrave entries are not always accurate but who knows.
