Is there an Oliver (Angel Smith-Champion)or Joseph Champion who moved to the US in the 1800

Trying to locate my grandfather's family. My grandmother was Cherokee Indian and was the wife of Oliver Champion who resided in Canton, Mississippi in the early to mid 1800's until death in the 1900's. They had 9 children. I believe he had a brother named Josh who boxed. My grandfather Oliver had John, Sam, Willie and Oliver II/ Arleana, Leon, Linnie (my mother), Louella and Louella children.
