Calendar's for dates.

According to my understanding prior to 1752 the Julian calendar was in use in England and its colonies. The first day of the year in the Julian calendar was March 25. Are the dates we are entering completely incorrect?

And then there's the question of dual dates e.g. 1750/1.
Hi Ron,

It would depend whether your sourcing the dates from an original document or a transcribed document where the date may have already been amended. I know this might confuse the question, but it's worth bearing in mind.
All the best
