Hopefully we will have more members come on board between now and then. Team Missouri isn't one of the more popular teams and perhaps that's a reflection on me. However, I don't live and breathe WikiTree like some of the captains. Typically I only show for the Thons and occasionally a Data Doctor challenge.

To be honest, I get a bit discouraged every event when I see scads of folks joining other teams. There's at least a handfull of teams that I know must have 20-25 plus members already and registration JUST opened. BUT I have a great bunch of folks that return for each event and the fact that some of us are distant cousins makes it really fun.

We may be a small team, but we can be mighty!!

How do I join the Missouri team?  I have research on early Cooper County, MO.  I have been trying to find the 1820 Missouri Territory Census Records since the 1970s with no results.  I researched the early Hendrick family all over Missouri.  I live in west-central Missouri, and have indexed some cemeteries in Cass and Henry Counties.

Seriously, I don't recall doing that. When I ran Team 811 we did Google Hangouts for one of the events but that was it.

Yes, my best day too.... Lori,  ok I just added my first Maggard-923 , needed a father which is Maggard-918  .   How do I log the connection so it shows up and counts ?  I don't see Connect A Thon on the challenge tracker ? Never mind Lori , I see just do it and it counts , Awesome !!!!

I'm trying to figure out how to help.  I am reluctant to work on other folks' profiles and pick out people who may be wrong... should I just work on mine?

Mary, I've found the best place to start is with the profiles I manage. Find the ones that need parents, siblings or spouses added and carry those out as far as you can. I use Family Search as a resource to help with that.

Hey not bad so far for a small team... I have done my preset list and now am down to where have to start creating profiles and that is slowing me down.... but at least working on folks I was just looking at !
