Do you co-manage Puritan Great Migration Profiles?

Do you co-manage a profile that is part of the Puritan Great Migration Project? Thank you. The project really values having Wikitree members, and descendants as co-leaders of profiles designated as part of the Puritan Great Migration Project.

From the help page.
"For older profiles, the manager is a leader for the genealogical collaboration" Our active pgm project members are extremely knowledgeable and most of us have access to quality sources and we enjoy improving ancestors, but you are also managers and descendants, so please research and contribute to discussions or start new discussions, using the comments section or G2G.

As profile managers you:

  1. Receive merge proposals via email.
  2. Receive Trusted List requests via email.
  3. Receive notices about comments posted on the profile via email.
Please help the already extremely busy project leaders by responding to these emails, when you get them.

I agree with William Pease and SJ Baty.  Thank you for all that you do!
Thank you for this post, Anne.  As a member of PGM, and as the Project Coordinator of "Puritan Great Migration Beyond New England," I know how important it is to have active managers, trusted list, and family members to contribute time and effort into the profiles of these important 1621-1640 immigrants.

I would like to also say thank you. My PGM ancestors (there are 435 according to ancestor listmaker) have some of the best maintained profiles I see on WikiTree. You do a great job overseeing these very important profiles.

Thank You!

Good point Anne!  It is for this reason that we encourage existing PMs to stay on when 1776 or the Penn Project adopts profiles.  Many hands make for light work!

Thanks for that reminder, Anne. I think a lot of managers of these special profiles may feel that they need to defer to the Project.
I think it's good to highlight that the Project encourages active participation in managing them.
And thanks for all that the entire team membership does!

Thank you, Anne, for this nice explanation of what it means when a project is a profile manager.

This applies to all projects, not just PGM. smiley

I co-manage a few. I can't really name them off the top of my head because I have a ton of them. The profiles so far are well done. Let's hope they stay that way! Though, I wouldn't mind some clean-ups on a couple gedcom uploads.

Anyway, thanks for all you do! Glad to be a part of the group even though my personal activity IN the project has been minimal. Heh...Heh.....Heh.....

When you find them Chris feel free to cleanup that gedcom junk smiley

Oh, I do. Trust me. I put in sources from FS and put in a temporary bio.
