Russ, it may help if you could be a little more explicit about exactly what you want to do.  Are you proposing to add material from a publication to Henry's profile, or use the material already posted on the profile somewhere else, or something entirely different?  If you're asking a legal question, you probably won't get an authoritative answer from a qualified lawyer in this forum.  If there's a concern about copyright, or the terms of service of another web site, you can probably get some general guidelines here, but perhaps not an actual authorization to do something specific.  I think it would also be relevant as to whether you wish to use something in a profit-making endeavor.

Otherwise, the question is whether the creator of the material holds the copyright to the text and can give permission. This raises problems, as the collaborative nature of WikiTree can make it difficult if not impossible to determine who was the creator of the text.

AFAIK, WikiTree itself does not claim the copyright of its members' contributions.
