A Murder in My Neighborhood

+8 votes
Right on cue, there's been a murder in my neighborhood just prior to Halloween. The killer insists on bragging about it loudly. Even when the body was being removed, he tried to distract the removal team. He thinks he can get away with it just because he has mesmerizing blue eyes. He's such a charmer, I'm concerned that his Ted Bundy-like killing spree will continue. We don't even know his name, but somehow we can't make him leave. We refer to him only by his nickname - Ring Tail

Sounds like have a racoon to me!
No, but that's a good guess.  Our Raccoons are not the cold-hearted, efficient killers that this guy is.

If it wasn't for the blue eyes I would say one of the Bassariscus.

I don't imagine there are too many lemurs roaming in Cali; moreover ring-tail's have blue eyes when they're babies and babies don't typically go on a killing spree.

If it was a white tiger I imagine you'd be calling the news.

I am therefore going with a Cat.

Yep, he's clearly a Siamese/Gray Tabby mix with a tail very reminiscent of a Raccoon's.  He adopted us and our yard as his regular hangout a couple of years ago, but we suspect (and hope) that he belongs to one of our neighbors.  And he's the best killer of any house cat I've ever been around.  This time it was a blackbird, I think.

No, he's much more eager to share the fact that he's killed than a fox.

winkOk last guess i am not very good at this but I love puzzels plus I found your question really interesting what about a cat ?

You got it.  See above
In a decade, after appropriate trial and conviction, you can do a write-up profile in Black Sheep. Oh, a cat...maybe not.
