Is there a way to put padding around embedded images?

I have just come into possession of our family Bible and am creating a Free Space for it. I am trying to document what's on the pages next to an image of the page. Since most of it is in list format, I am trying to use the * to make the items list. However, they are running into the images on the left-hand side. Is there a way to put padding around an image to keep that from happening?

Insert a table like this

 {|cellpadding="4" align="left"

image template

This didn't work for me. I did it on the marriage section and it still looks the same.
show the code you used, because I tested it on an image template with your text, The difference is slight. You can increase the padding number
Can you open the page for editing?
I got it! I put your code around the bulleted list instead of the photo and it worked. However, when I told it to align left, all the stuff below it also aligned left. So, still not quite what I want. Gonna open the page for editing so you can look at it.
How does it look now?
Perfect! Thank you :)
Pleasure You should consider using {{clear}} on the bottom of any page you have tables on. It prevents wrong script from overflowing to the rest of the page. You may also use it in your text where you want to cancel align left etc
Thank you :) That's the code I was trying to find for wikitree. I knew it with CSS, but wasn't thinking to use the brackets for wiki.

You can adjust the sizes of the photos; I've had varying luck with this.  You may need to put a line above and below each image ---- and then center the photo and vary the size to get the padding that you desire.

What a gorgeous family keep-sake.  I'm drooling with envy!

Thank you! It is a miracle it ended up back with me. When my aunt died, everything of hers was sold at an Estate sale. The woman that bought the estate recently passed away. Her granddaughter reached out to me through Ancestry.com and said her grandmother was looking for the family to return it!
That is wonderful!  I'm so glad she did that.  I shudder to think of all the photos and mementos for sale on eBay that would be treasured by other family members.
Yes. She said her own great-grandparents wedding photo was sold at an auction.
