is this Moses Ward the same Moses C. Ward, brn 1840/1 MD?

I've been chasing down Moses C. Ward, of 1870, trying to find his family (wife Hannah, kids Charlotte, Annie E., and Samuel), in 1880: without much luck.  Unless the census-taker   made several gaping mistakes in the 1880 census referenced in this new profile?

Thoughts, please?

thanks,

Shira

Thank you, Marion:  How did you find this source?  I'd seen it, but wasn't sure it was the same Moses and Hannah, so I wanted to tie in their 1880 profile, but I've not been able to find either of them (nor Annie E. Ward, their presumptive daughter from  1870) in 1880.

Sometimes when searching the name you want pops up in different area, but if you check , it is often record of a child which can give mother’s LNAB.
Thank you!  I went to the Family Search and tried my search, which popped up both the 1870 census for the Wards and also this birth record from DC right away, in an easier to read format, too.

I'll still feel better after finding some record from the 1880/90 census to be sure they are all the same people.
I've just updated the profile with links to Tinker birth cert you found, and the 1870 clearly related census, with the 1880 possibly related census (provided that the census-taker made massive errors in the last names and some of the ages, and if 'Laborer' in 1870 could mean, being less specific, 'Blacksmith' in 1880, and assuming that Hannah has died between censuses?
